DIY door Hing questions?

Has anyone done the DIY for the door hinges? I was reading about it on here, but Im just wondering if anyone else as done it and if so did you hit any snags or anything I should know about? My drives door is rough when it opens and closes...........it kind of jumps a bit.

Is this the only DIY for such a repair?

did it and it was super easy, just have 2 friends hold the door while you swap hinges.
