Story: Parked in front of friends house this morning, came back from a graduation about 5 hours later to find the car like that Turns out the neighbors across the street don't know how to look behind them to reverse straight.

ive parked my car on the side of the street, and twice already, someone backs into my bumper and takes off.... people cant park and back if their life depends on it.

Have you tried going to a PDR shop? I've seen some really good work from a few shops around here. Wouldn't hurt to try right? You could save a few hundred bucks and avoid color mismatch in the end. If you are in the Austin area, try this place: http://www.dentworks.com/. I don't personally know what would be considered PDR-fixable or not fixable, but some of those pictures on their site look similar to your damage.

that sucks, there seem to be more and more horrible drivers on the road.. road tests are soooooo lax these days, in Ventura county you drive around a secluded neighbourhood for 15 minutes then go back to dmv...

 

Whhhaattt $3500, good thing they're gonna be paying for it. At least they confessed to it though. What sucks is this accident is accident number 3 since I've owned an SC in the past year.
