Default Car going to get a repaint.. need advice..

My car was keyed last weekend.. It a 97 Ren red...

I want a slightly darker shade of Red..

I've went over all the other posts and saw everyones inputs.. Imola red seems like the way im going...

I love ren red, dont get me wrong, but when its in a nice cool setting.. i dont like the it when the sun in blazing down on it, its too bright...

Does anyone have pics of imola red on their SC????

thanks

i like the red in the pic. there are several factory darker reds for the SC that you might consider, Rose Red Pearl, Cinnabar Pearl, Bordeaux Pearl, etc. i do like how the dark reds look on the SC.

It looks like you answered your own question. If you like that color, go for it. It will be easy to get the paint since it is an existing OEM color. I will be respraying my SC this summer and I like the newer colors too. The Black Sapphire Pearl is what I am leaning toward. Good luck with the choice you make.

My car probably got keyed while I was watching a movie at Metrotown.. I parked outside MacDonalds... or it might have happened in front of my house... Im leaning towards the latter because there are a lot of punk kids hanging out outside of the school in front of my house nowadays..

freaking punk hater kids...

Anyways.. im thinking that there is almost no dif from the imola to renaissance... Are there any paint experts out there to tell me whats up?

heres some e46?43? whatever...

here is a sc300 in the same lighting as the 2nd bimmer

thanks for the input guys

The red on the LS460 is really nice. When the sun hits it, that is when it is really set off. Other than that, it is a deep calm red. You should see it in person. It is also on very few ES350's and GS350's.

The bimmer red should stay on the bimmer, the darker reds look better on the SC's IMO

I am going to re spray my car as well I am thinking of going with the red the scion tc are using now. The name of it is "Sizziling Crimson Mica" I would hate to see other sc's with the same color around here but.. you are in Canada.

This just looks bloodthirsty, like it drove through a battle sequence and pulled up to drop its girlfriend at work.
