someone cut me off and hit me once in my old integra at a yellow light, he ran the light and i chased him, hes lucky he pulled over. and he had the nerve to take me to court, the judge just laughed at him and said he was at fault.

Fortunately the way things work in BC its illegal to be driving a car without insurance. If you want to drive your forced to pay insurance by ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia), and if your caught driving without insurance then your car is immediately towed. If your involved in an accident the person with insurance is covered by ICBC (you only have to pay a $300 deductible whether the accident is your fault or not and regardless of damage), and the person without is left to fix their own damage, plus pay a huge penalty if they ever decide to get insurance.
In my case when they prove that he hit me, he'll pay $300, and his insurance rates will go up. I pay nothing and get the car fixed by ICBC.

Yeah the damage isint bad at all, the problem is that I'm trying to sell my car, which has been difficult as is, and with a re-painted quarter-panel it will be that much more difficult
I'm defiantly not a happy camper and will be on his *** till he begs to stop..

Ive got one thing to say to that guy.. AHahah!! Im glad no one was hurt in the chase. I would have done the same thing. Someone has hit my car and ran away also. Never found the guy. But yeah looks like you have all you need to get this guy into some real trouble. Good luck!

People like that suck! He might have been drunk or something even. I'd tell him to pay for it with his insurance, or at the very least make him pay your deductible, or you'll beat his GD head in. Put that piece of trash in the hospital with a $40,000 doctor's bill. It's a good thing you chased him and found out where he lives and got all of his info. I hope it works out for you. Worst case scenario is you just have to pay your deductible but I think that POS should take care of it all!

and i was pi55ed cuz some idiot hit my car with their door today. no body damage, but minor paint damage that wouldn't polish out.

unfortunately it happened at work and there are cameras all over the place
