things like this is what gives kids high insurance rates, why couldn't you appreciate your car and just drive it, or go to a drift circuit and do it there, i'm 17 and i baby my sc like crazy, i don't even like spinning the tires, those things cost a lot lol, seriously, get a civic and don't hurt another sc, there aren't that many SCs left (ok, there is a lot of them) and if you wreck a 5-speed i think that is an instaban if i'm correct.

Am I the only one with a reuined quarter panel that is NOT due to some kind of Sliding?
My mom backed into my PARKED car in the driveway...her insurance had to pay it, and she wasn't happy...not to mention her '08 RX350 was SLIGHTLY hurt.
You're looking at A LOT of money. $3-5,000. Blue Book the car before you call insurance.
I think it is like 80 or 90% of blue book that they go off of.
if your damages are more than that percentage of the value, it's a total loss. . .GL, and work more hours next time so you can afford track time.

I think you guys are getting a bit off topic here. He made a mistake and just about everybody has already pounded him to the ground for that. I'm sure he doesn't feel too smart about the decision he has made so I really don't see how this is useful to continue to bash him for 5 straight pages. If I recall correctly, this thread originally was to discuss removing the rear quarter panel. If you're looking to flame and make people feel stupid about street racing, I'm sure streetfire.net or the racing forum would be a better spot to look for idiotic targets to get your ego boost from. FYI, I don't drift nor do I street race (heck, I haven't even learned how to drive manual yet), but I think if you're trying to teach a kid a lesson, it wouldn't hurt to teach some compassion and altruism by example. Kicking somebody while they're down isn't always the most effective way at changing somebody's behavior. Just my 2 cents I suppose.
