New Lexus owner.
I've purchased a 98 SC300 Lexus with 22,824 original miles, but have not taken delivery just yet. Will need to travel to Arkansas from Oklahoma. The car appears to be very clean and well taken care of. Always garaged. Interior is tan and exterior is black. I have more pictures, but I'm only able to upload one. The wheels are hedious, I'm not even sure they are from a lexus. The guy i bought it from didn't like the stock wheels and had the dealer replace them with what you see in the picture.
Since the car has low miles, do you think I need to have the belts replaced. I'm not sure what happens to a car when it sits in a garage most of its life and not driven. Good to be here.

Beautiful car ... how much did you pay.
My '93 SC400 has 48K miles and I have as of yet changed the belts. Your car is 5 years younger ... but you should consider starting to change fluids and whatnot, based upon what the previous owner did.

He took it to the Lexus dealer ship every 3k miles, but said he hasn't had a single belt replaced. I called the dealer and gave them the vin and confirmed that he was there each time. I paid 15k for it...definitely the high retail, but 10 years old and only 23k miles on it.

fuild and belt check is always safe to do. why not check manually and take a looksy at the belts. use your thumb and press down on them [or take them off], look for some cracks or if it seems brittle, then replace it/them as you wish.
