my lens weren't badly deteriorated but showed signs of haze and yellowness. i used this cheap polish resin called TR3. the results were fantastic and the best part was it required very little elbow grease.... almost to the point of wiping it on, then wiping it off. i also used this product on my old beater prelude and it actually restored the shine on the faded white paint. i haven't heard much reviews on this product so no attempts applying it to the lexus paint.

I used Blue Magic when I pulled my lights apart last month. The stuff actually works really well, but the projectors still need to be cleaned. Mine were really dirty when I took the housing apart, and there was a lot of dust all over the inside of the housings. Used Blue Magic on the lenses, cleaned the rest of the housing and the projectors and they look great, not to mention the far better light output.

I've had wonderful results with ScratchX on my old headlights as well.
That being said, OLT is right. There is no substitute for a set of thoroughly cleaned projectors or a pair of brand new headlights.
I got tired of having to clean my headlights every month or so to prevent them from turning yellow that I simply bought a brand new pair from Carson Toyota. $600 isn't exactly cheap for my more than a decade old SC400 but the clarity on the new headlights simply blew my old units away.
