Default My first SC. The intro, FINALLY!

Whats up everyone. I did my intro in the intro thread but after trolling this forum for almost two years and after seeing my first supra swapped SC i was in love and so i started hunting. I mostly trolled eBay, clean SC's locally are hard to come by and here in south florida people kno their potential so even shells run a good penny. I was driving down to a friends place one day here in lauderdale and i always peeped the lots that sell older cars. I saw this junk lot with a crap load of cars but usually with a flat bed tow truck parked infront but the one day the truck wasnt there and i passed and saw my baby sitting there with all kinds of crap laying ontop of the car.

I stopped by and asked how much the car was selling for. The shop owner said he bough it to fix and sell it like everything else outside and that it was sitting for 3-4 years not running and was bought off an older couple in lauderdale that had it sitting under a pine tree for that entire time. I asked him a price, he said he didnt know and he didnt know what was wrong with the car and he insisted he wanted to fix it (to obviously get more money)... my exact words " i'll save you the trouble, here is a thousand dollars (check) tow it to this address right now" i stuck my hand out and smile and he accepted.

So here she is:
1993 sc4 with 168k

passenger leather is in really good condition

rear leather is also in great condition

the dash....great condition

driver seat is SCREWED

Plans for her: new leather from leatherseats.com, i've done A LOT of maintenance to the motor but it still needs a timing belt, serpentine belt and a radiator flush, everything else has been changed maintenance wise. New paint job, tint, 19' staggared wheels and a double din navigation touch screen. I have my eyes on this other SC....BOY is it clean. It a sc300, red and the guy wants 5k. i think i'll use that one for my swap and this as my baby

stay away from it........i've owned 13 turbo cars, and im only 25. The MS3 was my biggest mistake by far. The owners wont tell you that and will deny night and day that the car is designed flawed. Its a great daily driver, its comfy, gets alot of looks and will out handle or come close to cars that are 2x more but its not a performer. The internals are very week so to expect it to be a 300hp daily driver is a no go. To keep it stock, its a blast to drive but again the motor and ecu in my semi professional opinion wasnt done right...do some research, there are atleast 1-2 stock motors on the forums a month that blow on average.....and im not over exaggerating.

Nice man. Looking forward to seeing some progress in the near future. I didnt like my green at first. After some new wheels and new suspension, the green has grown on me. Not to mention the compliments I get now
