Sometimes it means Slow Car, but most of the time it means Sport Coupe.
Some people think it means SuperCharged so they try to rev, race, and tailgate you.

yup..sport coupe..just like es - entry sedan; ls - luxury sedan; gs..couldnt think of one..haha..is..intermediate sedan? uhh...dunno..haha

I thought that ES stood for Economy sedan, and GS stood for Grand Sedan? IS is also a mystery to me.

I believe IS stands for Intelligent Sport. Why? I don't know. I also agree with all of the other ones. I always thought GS stood for Grand Sedan.
