Default Do S2000 seats really bolt into SC?

Did a search on the forums and didn't find any threads for my question. So I'll ask here

I recently became more active in modding my '92 SC3 and one suggestion I got was to replace my seats since they're heavy due to the motors. Pretty much like everyone else, I want the black interior hahaha.

I read from Intellexual that Supra seats and S2000 seats are direct bolt-ons. I wanted to know if this is for reals with the S2000 seats. I know Supra seats bolt on fine but what about the S2000 seats? Anyone out there tried it?

And what do you guys think of the black leather Recaro seats from the Evo9 if I'm going for that Executive look for my interior?

There was a thread about the s2k seats a while back. I believe there was some modding to make them fit perfectly.

Found this thread in a few seconds:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...ighlight=s2000

Just a tip when you search make sure you set it to "Search Titles Only".

It's like trying to fit acura rsx seats into your sc. it won't fit without modification. Only "bolt on" or "drop in" seats with no modification would be the supra seats.

IMO supra seats look like a ***** and are very ugly. As comfortable as many have said, I rather look good and be comfortable than just comfortable with a ***** looking seat. To each his own but I dont' think supra seats look good at all.

Black leather recaros are okay but for the money (street price of 600 to upwards of 900) why not just get used sparcos or recaros? MUCH better deal since those evo seats won't bolt up either and money spent making it fit would be better off buying something that was made to fit.

LOL yes please explain, i really like mine (aside from the fact that the leather needs to be matched). To think i've been sitting on a ***** all this time is a frightening thought.

HAHA well i don't know how it looks like a ***** but it may have something to do with no actual separation from the seat and the headrest. All one piece. I don't know, haha it was just a joke

s2000 seats is not a direct bolt-in . only fits with some modification to the bracket.

hahaha thanks for the search advice, I'm such a nub.

Thanks for all the replies on the S2000 seat question though! I've been doing a lot of reading on Club Lexus and Intellexual because I've become more interested in the SC. Before it just was an everyday car for me, but the more I drive it and look at it, the more I fall in love with it. hahahha

Besides the Supra seats, what are popular seat replacements for the SC? (I want that Executive feel for my interior)
