MINE DOES IT EVERY TIME........

my roof opened and wouldnt shut, so i manually shut it w/ the tool and now it does it everytime....never did it b/4 the manual close of roof

by the way and good dyi fo adjusting the roof....it will open but not shut im guessing adjustment

Mine does it anytime the sunroof is open,even when it's tilted....it does sound like a false sensor if it's entirely closed.

Hate to bring this back from the dead...but my SC ('97 SC300) use to do the 4 beeps and now just beeps constantly as if my keys are still in the ignition.

The ignition light ring (the green glowing light that surrounds the key hole) stays illuminated the entire time the key is NOT in the "on" position. Een with the key in the ignition but not turned to any position, the chime continiuously chimes adn the ring remains illuminated. The only way the chime stops EVER is if (A): The car is started and on, or (B): if I removed the 10amp fuse from the fuse block under the hood that reads "DOME." But when I remove the fuse, the dome lights by the sunroof do not come one (obviously) and the cigarette lighter, trunk pop release and the clock stop working- well the clock works, but everytime you start the car, it starts back @ 1:00.

I am @ my wits end!! !! !! I can't take it anymore! Guru's, PLEASE "chime" in with some solutions or something!

Sounds like one of your door switch is staying open when you close the door. Apply some pressure on the door after you close it to see if the light goes out. If it does you will have to check the door switch. I beleive it is built in the locking mechanism on the door jam.

Back frm the dead again! How the hell do I get the door locking mechanism out of the door!?!? The windo track is in the way! This looks like a ***** to get out! Also, where is the moon roof sensor?

Mine doesn't beep for a tilted sunroof, either. And now I'm curious why it doesn't. Then again, I don't get a door chime or any other sort of chime now that I think about it. Is this something you can enable/disable?

Nope...not as far as i know...my sunroof never did that (that I know of) and I have a '97 too

Mines always open and I never heard those beeps.
