Default Alternative to hood pins?

I have a CF hood and I know that they have flown up on a lot of people is there another way to lock them now with out using hood pins?

why not use the flush black hood pins. They are hardly noticeable.

Usually the "catch" on the hood will rip out of the hood. The SC has a separate 2nd catch which is a better design, but I still woudln't trust it. I have some aerocatch's and I just put on a CF hood on my car, so I'll be installing them soon. You can check out mine when I get them on at the next meet.

double side tape? JK, I've installed those aerocatch ones, they are a bit hard to do. If i were doing a carbon hood, I'd probably get regular locking hood pins

Velcro.

Laugh now, I've seen it. 3M makes a HELL of a professional grade velcro and it'll hold at most any speed, but you have to find it. It's not the off the shelf stuff.

No kidding, 3m makes crazy stuff... i was watching discovery and they made this tape that is currently being used in Dubai for the construction of the highest building in the world, and its not being used to tape wallpapers, its used on the stuctures of the building.. If you can find it, use that, but then you got to find a way to open the hood
