Default Does anyone know anything about this SC300?

Looking to possibly buy my first SC300. Been looking at them for a while now. Anyone know anything about this car? I live about 261 miles away from it, otherwise I would go take a look at it myself. Ill probably head down there preparing to buy it next Monday or Tuesday.

Edit: It looks like the muffler on the left of the car is hanging down?

Added a second link.

I wish they had better resolution shots of the car, so I can see the interior, the paint condition and head light condition.

Anyone want to run by for me?

Those 97 wheels in chrome with the massive negative offset aren't working out that well. At least they don't stand out so much when they are silver.

Why, is the resell on these cars bad? I am buying the car because its cheap, and ive kinda wanted one for a while. I just sold my '04 Vette yesterday, just looking to pay off some debt with a cheaper car but I might turn this into a project car afterall. I love the sound of a turbo 2jz

I would encourage you to view the car to be honest. The dealer likely wont look at fit, finish etc they are likely looking at mechanical. Being a paint and body guy thats a big deal to me but less so to others...Jus a thought! Also when the dealer has it make sure they pull all the available service history of the car. This is a good barometer to see how and IF its been taken care of. Wont tell you independant work that was done but good to know and see this.

I think he's saying dont expect to flip it quickly if you tire of it...BTW I would condition purchase not only on Lexus review BUT on a physical inspection by yourself. Make sure you tell the Lexus dealer at a minimum what you expect them to check. Use the lists on this site for those "common issues" with the SC's. Thats a great start.

Good Luck!
