Cool

Hey guys, my name is sam, and im all the way in Sydney Australia.
Just picked up my first SC400 or Toyota soarer as they are called here.
UZZ31- 1993, With EMV touch screen
Love the car to bits, everything is fine, done 90,000km's
window ledges on doors have 1 crack on each that i need to find out how to fix and thats about it!

Would love your insight on how I could further improve the car, got some money to spare so bring it on!

Here are a few pics of the car atm:

Nice looking car. Let's see some interior pics. Those cracks on the doors are very very common, i fixed mine by taking them off and taking a soldering iron to the backside but I obviously got to it before the upholstry tore.

Welcome to the club! I love the touch screen feature. Does your Soarer come with the air suspension?

yes, comes with the air suspension
Touch screen is great, got it hooked up to a dvd player, and mod the unit to play whilst driving! Also got Aussie GPS CD's, so I use full functionality of it

It came stock standard on the UZZ32's (v8 active suspension), as a option on the UZZ31's (V8 air suspension)

Unfortunatly the Wiring Harnesses are different and the American analogue vs Japanese digital dash's arnt interchangable.

Many have tried but failed, funny that some people in australia wish they had the analogue ones, i cant see why though :S

thanx guys for the compliments, Amazing cars! Cant see why the SC's exported to the states wernt as loaded as the Jap soarers. (soarers never got sold anywhere except japan, they were all exported later as used cars to right hand drive countries like Australia and Great Britain)

I never understood that either, especially since the car was sold in the US as a premium brand in the upper $50k range in the '90's.
