Okay, so we replaced my door latch assembly in my 400 and now the AC display will only light up if the lights are turned on. It will NOT work. The defroster wont work it wont let me change the recirculation from outside air. Its very weird. I think I may have broke my cigarette lighter with my iPod radio adapter...(I dont smoke) anyone got any suggestions. I replaced the whole unit and the same thing happened. I checked all of the fuses and couldnt find one that was blown...so I guess ill have to check them again...any suggestions of what to look out for? I really miss my A/c in the hot!

By any chance did a metal object or coin fall into the cig lighter?

No... It would just drain the battery if there was any kind of metal in the cig lighter..... ac display and lighter are tied to the same fuse in the kick panel. The lcd will still light up even if that fuse is blown.

i had a coin in mine, popped the fuse, the lcd for ac wouldn't work.. check your interior fuse box
