Default Is my car lowered? Help putting rims on.

I have the stock 15" "turbines" wheels on my car, and I would like to put on 17" Enki rims with low profile tires but they wont even fit on the front. They will not physically fit on without hitting the bumper. I dont feel its neccsary to roll fenders on this small of rim size but I may have to. Here is my car for reference, Although it is on a steep uphill slope in this picture.

It doesn't look lowered to me. What profile tire are you using on the 17's? I would say 45 is a good size.

I dont think its the offset although i'll look into that. The rear is obvously not lowered but the front seems very low to the ground. It will sometimes scrape tall speed bumps while going very slow. Basicly when I try to put the new rims on ( pretty sure the tires are 45 but ill have to double check) they are taller than the fender by about 1".

There is no way that you could lower an SC enough to have the tire tuck 1in under the guard.

Either the tires are the wrong size or the rims are doing something funky.

Matt.

wait, your 17'' wheel/tires are hitting your front bumper when they are on? something sounds really wrong there...especially with out being lowered...

I have the same factory wheels as you, and with out a drop 18'' with a 25 offset cleared everything just fine...but I had the ground clearance that Suburban does in the background..

take some pictures from different angles, and some with these 17in rims on the car

Take a picture of the wheels on your car or the best that you can, either they are like 20" wheels or the tires are massively tall. I had 17's on my car and had about 2 inches of gap on the front without lowering it. Your car is deffinately not lowered either.
