Default 95 5spd project paint and upholstery...

Hello everyone I'm working on some of the cosmetics of my car It used to be black with a messed up tan interior. I started taking everything apart from the seats, door pannels, headliner, and carpet, dash and trunk will be done later I'm trying to have everything ready for the 16 of August for the big so cal sc meet (hope it's big)

I was thinking of doing same Lexus tan leather with brown suede in the inserts of the seats, door pannels and headliner+pillars. what do you guys think?

Paint you will have to see later

sounds and looks good. are you going to get rid of the DENALI and XL stuff in the seude? i wouldn't put anything in the seude, but MAYBE something simple and clean if you were to, though.

i'm sure others will be objecting on not taking parts off before painting so I'll say it now: Take them off! bumper, headlights, high beams, windshield, window trims, all have to come off if you want it done right. Suede on tan would look great, can't wait for the finish!

i use microsuede, but the material doesn't stretch at all. it's hard to do in corners and tight spaces, and I use foam backing with magna tac 809 fabric glue.

I never understood why people tape/mask parts that can be removed. It seems like it would take less time to just remove the parts like tailights/headlights than masking them.

when there is bondo needed and fitment adjustments need to be made, they mask up those kind of parts. Once they get it where they want to, they remove what you are referring to and continue..
