Just another one of those wiring harness horror stories. So my car's pretty low, and I've been running my friend's wheels for a week or so now, knowing they were rubbing but didn't think much of it at first.
So Saturday, I was on a twisty backroad having a little bit of fun, and then all the sudden my windshield squirters came on and wouldn't turn off, lol, pretty bad cuz the windows and sunroof were open...
So I pull over, mess around with the wires a bit, and get them to turn off, and took the road slow the rest of the way...Then driving home from Formula D, my taillights stop working all together, so I was almost home and a State Patrol pulled me over. I explained the situation and he let me know, just said to leave my hazards on til I get home...
Then, worst thing happens today...I'm getting on the freeway, and all the sudden my car just completely dies. I'm like what the fawk. So I get out of my car, and yeah by this time my harness is looking pretty haggard. I try to jiggle the wires around a bit again to no avail. So I jack up the car, remove the wheel, and start taping off every single wire, none were broken, but many exposed.
Once I get them all taped off, try starting the car, and no dice. Cranks, and that's about it...
Finally after a while of looking around at numerous different things, a friend shows up with a test light, and we find that the injector fuse had popped. I didn't bother removing it at first because from the top it didn't look broken, but low and behold that was the problem, and now things are okay...tomorrow I'm going to see how far up I can tuck the harness.
Props to anyone who reads this whole thing, lol.

I just got done rerouting my harness. It took me a few hours because I like to work at my own pace. But anyway, I basically unplugged one end of the harness. The end that has the 4 connectors in the driver side kick panel. I ran that loom through the little hole where the windshield washer reservoir is. Ran it through the engine bay right along side the fender and back through another hole next to the clutch master cylinder (if you have a manual). I then connected everything back together and BAM! Problem solved. Ive always wanted to get this out of the way since I will be going lower on bags.

Cuz I'm lazy, lol. It didn't have that bad of rubbing issues until I took it down that windy road, that's when stuff started freaking out...oh well, the harness is relocated out of the way now, so no worries.
PBM doesn''t make wheels...I mean I have PBM coilovers and my wheels have 235/45s in the front...my bad.

LOL, this is why I got my sc300 so cheap because a lot of the electrical was not working. I traded my suspension damaged 97 accord for this 92 sc300... Took me a couple feet of wire, some crimp terminals, and electrical tape... problem solved! It was lowered on eibach springs on 20's... I refused the 20's, got it back on stocks. After that, it only rubbed on the freeway at high speed hitting bumps or dips. Now I put the stock springs on... im thinking either 20's or 19's stock height... or 18's and put the lowered springs back on... what you guys think? I dont race it, its basically just a fun daily driver/weekend warrior... I use my civic for the long commute.

i just rerouted my harness at work. took about 3 hours total. i took out the fuse box under the dash, unplugged the chassis harness from there and routed it through the engine bay. didnt have to cut a single wire and it looks stock
pics will be up tomorrow in my latest thread. tonight im going out to the city and dont have time to upload.
