I have had the chrome version of those lights on my car for over a year and a half and the lenses are still as clear as the day i installed them and i totally agree about not spending $800 on oem lights. i do however prefer the stock look and did not hook up the halo or led's when i installed mine.

My grand parents live right on the gulf coast in LA.
Humid as ***** year round, so I'm sure that didn't help.
I'm actually in the process of doing research on my own line of needles for the clusters.
Having access to a Purdue engineering lab makes things easier, especially with student gophers.

Not competition, just if anyone was ever interested. I guess.
Still toying with the idea.
We did a 1996 ES300 about a year ago and it works great!
Well at least it did until he totaled the car. Cluster is still in it. I probably should go get it back from the junk yard so I can use parts from it...lol.
I've been meaning to do the SC, but with my situation that happened over the past year I've been lazy and busy at the same time (weird huh?).
I think first task will be the climate control.

So to make another update:
I got tires mounted and balanced....
Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R
New brake pads, getting the rotors resurfaced tomorrow.
Still trying to figure out why the pedal is so spongy after bleeding it through a back caliper, but I guess I'll just do all four.
I have a METRA trim piece to surround my screen.
I converted the corner lights to DRL's or whatever. I actually had them painted black, but used aircraft stripper and then cleaned them up a bit, cleared them, slightly smoked them, and cleared again so they match the headlights better.
Just have to get my alignment on Tuesday, take care of some minor paint work, put the lip back on, the under covers back on...
...and I'm ready for round two for the Tail of the Dragon in my SC.
