I decided to actual take some shots of my car.

My camera is crappy.

Now dont comment if you're going to tell me to boost the car, buy huge expensive wheels or immediately upgrade to something that fits YOUR tastes.

When I bought the car, it had these drug dealer-esque rims on them. I had no other rims. Hated them. You can see in the pics why. They do have Toyo proxes on them though, so I'm keeping them! The old man I bought it from put the tint on, the rims on, and a 97 spoiler because he "Wanted it to appeal to the urban youth." haha

The other day a buddy of mine gave me a FREE set of five spokes. I painted the center cap and replaced the two front tires. 17X8 245/45 tires.

Here's what I have done to my car so far:

1992 Sc300

--Red out upper tails
--Removed mufflers with new pipe and chrome Vibrant tips
--Red calipers
--K&N drop in
--CD player the old guy put in, but added a pocket from a Camry (Soon to upgraded to an Alpine 7" stationary screen)
--94 Supra TT tan leather seats
--HIDDEN Sirius radio unit in my center console arm rest compartment
--Hard wire radar detector
--Blacked out corner lights replaced with center mounted small fogs that you can't see unless they're on (But DANG they're bright at night).
--Cheapy blue 9006 bulbs (HID's this year)
--Ultraviolet 194 LED in the city light slots (Looks cool!)
--assorted interior ice blue LED's
--Took the L emblem from atop a 1UZFE and mounted it to my steering wheel where the L is.
--Glove box pull out cup holder from a 95 Camry
--Dark, dark gunmetal pain on the center console trim (Where the climate control, radio, and shift bezel are)
--Aforementioned rims and tires.
--Infinity 12" sub with Alpine amp in a trunk box. Alpine 10" into the stock speaker rear deck mount with some Jensen amp I had laying around (Will be replaced with an Alpine amp soon)
--Black shift ****
--Garden edging front lip. Yeah tacky but it looks good until the 97+ cover comes in in a few weeks.

I guess thats pretty much it. Car looks good for the age, runs great and drives nice. I am keeping my stock seats for the winter and acquired a set of OEM 92 turbine style SC rims for the winter with new tires on them with no center caps.

Its a great start and shall look good in a few months with the following done:

--New A/C compressor
--1997+ Front bumper and grille (OEM)
--97+ OEM fogs
--Ebay high and low beams (Keeping my old ones though)
--18" mesh style rims with nice lip and Michelin Pilot sport tires
--OEM BRAND NEW brown floor mats.

I guess that should do it!

No I am in the process of uploading the pictures. I then am moving downstairs because any time I take time posting a message or anything, CL system logs me out and I have to start from scratch

Wheels look nice with a brighter lip and darker spokes, always looks nice, didn't know they were those old-style "Mustang" wheels until looking at them close-up. They look 10x better than those old ghetto-*** rims, nice upgrade. I like the red tails, mine are all-red and clear, too. Very clean black SC

I like your rims SClean4. Very nice. Kind of what I want but a little different, and I only want 18's.

the Stang rims are decent. I got them for free and then went and found a pair of ZR rated GoodYear Eagle ZR45's and had them mounted and balanced along with the other ones re-balanced for $50.

So, $50 to ditch my WESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE rims is worth it. I'm hoping to sell these rims to some ricer via Craigs list for reasonably cheap and keep my Proxes tires.

Anyone think painting the Stang spokes bronze would look good?

So a month later or so....

I made some changes to the car.

As of right now everything is basically the same save for the following:

--Found a excellent condition driver side door panel at a pick a part type yard locally for $15. (Only has a small snag in the lower vinyl--easily repairable, just need to stop being lazy )

--Wood trim found out of same car at salvage yard.

--Upper cup holder (just given to me by the junk yard dude)

--Supra seats have been in since July. Pics of those later.

--Pioneer AVH-P4000 in-dash mobile monitor. I didn't feel like hacking into the parking brake wiring, so I just made a switch. The radio has a parking brake wire (green) in the back that must be attached to the parking brake. The parking brake must be pulled up, then down, and then up again to watch movies or adjust certain settings. The switch essentially acts as my parking brake. **PLEASE NOTE** I do not advocate doing this if you intend to watch movies while you drive. Watching movies while driving is illegal, and extremely dangerous. Don't be dumb and use your head.

Unfortunately I didn't read up on it well enough and it isn't Nav ready. Sigh...oh well, next year I'll get a Nav one.

I'll be making a radio trim piece out of a busted factory Pioneer radio face plate out of a totaled SC pretty soon. Just need to find the time.

--Black housing Ebay head lights: They DO have functional aiming adjustments and actually look great in person. I wasn't spending $600 to get new low beams. I got the high and low beam package. They look nice. They are shipped with cheap 194 lights in them. You can replace them with colored LED's easily. The halo is NOT a CCFL, its just a ring that has pole/tubes that the light goes into to shine. Mine have ultraviolet (purple) halos and cool blue/hyper white triple LED's up top, and a high power white one in the city light spot. They are ten times brighter than your old worn out OEM lights. My old ones did not aim, had broken tabs, and still leaked after resealing them. These get compliments. **Attached pic is NOT my car**

Here are some pics. I would say my interior is very clean. Its nice and comfy.

Oh yeah. Also scored a set of OEM floor mats out of a 2000 SC400 for $45 shipped on Ebay a while back. Haven't cleaned them yet, but they are pretty clean for being nearly ten years old.

^Decided not to.

I may at some point paint them darker gunmetal (not too much darker) and have the lip ran on a lathe to make them a little better looking.
