my to do list before i go back to school...
get coilovers...check
slam the **** out of the car...half check?
get all prothane bushings...check
install bushings...this weekend
get spare subframe...check
machine subframe collars for subframe and diff...next week
buy nice wheels...never...well maybe spring
so i finally decided to drop it. got some stances from TF Dave.
this is how it looks now
lack of sleep causes bad lowering judgement
bad fitting wheels
this is my current low. not up to your guys' standards im sure but thats the best i can do at the moment. to go lower i have to relocate the chassis harness on the driver side and "modify" the inside of pass fender well. after that i can go down at least another 1.5"
better fitting wheels. rota p45r TA's. 18x9.5+30 x4. 255/35 tire all around. not my wheels. they are off an evo. my buddy is selling them so i test fitted them.
front only needs a roll and clears my 4 piston calipers
the back is not fluch but if they were my wheels i would run a fatter tire. like a 265 or a 275.
ive driven sc on stances before but i never had a chance to screw around with the damping and see what they do.
on the softest setting it is smoother then my buddys ls400 and definitely smoother then my tokico/eibach combo.
on full stiff it is a bit harsher then my buddies evo on full robispec setup and triple adjustibles.
right now im riding 3 clicks off full stiff and it feels firm but not bouncy or bad in any ways. very happy.
btw the way the stances i are made there doesnt seem to be a limit on how low you can go. lol. the way it sits now i can go down at least another 2" in the front and at least 2.5" in the rear. and thats without messing with the shock travel either.
when i have more updates ill post pics.
FYI...subframes are heavy. dont move it at 2am while drunk. especially with only 3 peaople.

the funny thing is that one of my good buddys is a very good detailer and the pics were taken at his house because i was working on his evo. he always offers me free details and all but i just either decline or just have him wash it. the paint on my car is in pretty bad shape. at this point im gonna have fun with it and when i have a bit more money ill respray the whole thing.
this is actually raised due to the harness issue. im well aware of it. lol. im going to be rerouting it either this weekend or early next week and then dropping it another inch.
it is a drift car. lol. after being hit by a cab in downtown chicago i figured ill drift/enjoy it and later on respray the whole thing
