i like them both...but in the end, it all depends on personal taste and how good condition and how well put we assemble our cars..i've seen plenty of ricey mk4 supras as well as a lot of tacky sc's. likewise i've seen a lot of ****ing fast sc's and outrageously powerful bpu and apu supras. later model sc's (99-00) seams to hold a high re-sell value, and just like early mk4 NA supra, i've seen them for dirt cheap. my opinion is this...i'd take the supra anyday over the sc, mainly because im a power junkie and i believe there's no such thing as enough power, but i also like he flexibility that the sc has that the supra doesn't...you can go 2jzna-t on the 300 or even supercharge the 1uz v8 motor on the 400 while still retaining a somewhat comfortable luxurious touring missile, the supra is either really effin' fast or is not, and i say not because an automatic NA mk4 is not fast. This is my opinion on all of this...
BTW, seams like the supra guys didn't take this thread very lightly...but i can understand, it comes with its territory.

Supra hands down. They're also hatchback's, so they're better for audio. I love my SC400, but if I had the option I would have bought a Supra.

Stock vs. stock I'd pick the Supra, no question about it.

if we could we all would own both cars.and the supra is on my list along with a bmw 850and porsche 928 six speed.all this fighting is so stupid.it's like a guy that own a 350z fighting with another guy that owns an infiniti.one is built for the sport group and the other is built for those that wants the power but don't want to feal the bumps on the road.

Default You Got To LOVE That

Well over the years. I have had numerous opportunity of owning a few Supra Twin Turbo but in the end I never accuqired one not because of the Price or Style but because I always wanted a SLEEPER. Something that You can go anywhere, park anywhere and not bring a lot of attention to yourself. You can go for a Sunday drive and not feel like you need to RACE. I have found that in the SCxxx. Most parts from the Supra TT bolt onto the SCxxx. You got to LOVE that.

I'm sure the other 38% begrudgingly picked the SC300.
Yeah that is kinda sad. But both cars are in a different class. Supra is a true sport car, while the SC in a luxury coupe. However, both cars are still nice.

The look and style of the Mk4 Supra is begining to look a little dated even though the SC was first produced in '92, It's alot easier to pass any '95+ SC as a newer 2000 year model car than that of a '98 Supra. Had my chance at a '95 Supra, but still decided to go with a '95 SC300 instead.

Forget the Supra, It seems now that everyone and their grandmas seem to want this overrated and ridiculously overpriced vehicle...so the SC wins my vote.

On top of this, Alot of MK4 Supra owners (But not all) are full of themselves...Only then will they return to being modest and humble once again, after when they either 1) wreck their Supras beyond repair 2) get it stolen and never recovered or 3) are unable to afford/find another one after selling it for whatever their reasons were in the first place.

exactly espeically since i live in california. I think i just read a post on sf about a supra getting pulled over for no reason just cuz the cop had a hunch. With an sc, you get NO HEAT.

Plus i agree that the SC has a far superior interior.

If I had the money, I would own a bone stock 98 Supra TT in red on two tone tan black with the six speed.

Wouldn't do a damn thing to it except for a K&N drop in and a subtle performance muffler.

Why?

Because those are two things that take a half hour to reverse when a bone stock 98 TT is worth several hundred thousand dollars in 20 years.

As an owner of a pretty nice SC, I can only say You would have to be nuts not to pick a Supra!
