supra vs sc300 what would you choose?

This is one of the strong points of the SC. You can go for a VIP, sporty, drifter, or updated stock look with the SC. There are so many different ways the SC can look depending on the wheels, drop, and body kit.
The Supra looks like an exotic sports car no matter what you do to it. I certainly wouldn't call it a bad thing, but the SC does provide more options in my opinion.
there are quite a bit of options with the sc in terms of looks and performance-------of course im bias because I own an sc but I love the car what can I say

because people are in Denial, they have the next best thing and find a way to explain why they would buy an SC if they already own one. Most of the SCs on here arent even worth 10gs and mine is far from it as well. So comparing your 5k dollar car to a 30k supra is a mute point. Supra is the way to go....if you have the money.

'IF' you had $25 000 cash would you rather put it towards a supra or an sc of your choice.
This evens the playing field because you can do soooooo much to an sc with that sort of cash----but after your done paying for your supra youll be lucky to have enough left for a tank of gas and an oil change.
And it still looks like a Hyundai Tiburon

I won't lie here, I wanted a Supra but just can't get over the "Supra Tax". I love the Supra, but I think its grossly over priced. I'm not going to sit here and say I LOVE the SC interior, but I do think the Supra interior is a bit ridiculous in the year 2011. It reminds me of a 90's Thunderbird to be honest. I'm bias from owning MR2's so long, but that interior has aged much better.
Buying a clean rust-free / one owner SC for $1500 and THEN making it into what I want makes a lot more financial sense. I COULD afford a Supra, but purchasing the car alone would've cleaned me out for a couple years. So in the end I would've had a 15-16 year old car like I do now, with the same issues, and no money to fix them.
I don't regret buying my SC400 one bit.

Good just a quick sanity check 
And yes there is a "supra tax" because the TT 6 speed is worth it. The problem is all of the other models get wrapped up into the hype of the TT 6 speed and they become less of a good value. An NA auto supra is a TERRIBLE value when priced at the 13-15k I've been seeing them for lately. I mean child please. But there's really a LOT into the TT 6 speed that would take big money on an SC300 to convert to and at that point you're nearly at a supra price but you'll never get it back out.
