yeah can't go wrong with small chunks of 2x4, I got mine from a DIY store for like 10cents each as they were there scraps. Now, I found some small ramps at Astro products, that I keep in the trunk. With the low down jack it still hits the side steps a little but once it gets a little air it clears the sidesteps. You just have to chose your jackup points wisely.
Those of you with harborfreight jacks, do you just have them at home or is that something you carry in your car? They look kinda big to be carrying around, but I'd love to have one though.

my car is too low to drive onto 2x4. Which means i can't fit the scissor jack under the front either.
so
I unziptie my front bumper and then there is plenty of room for me to fit a jack under the tow hook

I use 13 zipties on the front bumper and 4 on each sideskirt. Not bolts no screws. I have never had a problem.
The nice thing is if i hit an uneven drive way or something the bumper ripps off versus cracking or shattering. The bumper I bought from you like a year ago I bolted on and it got mangled.
