the s2000 was designed to have the f20/22 engine and a 2jz or 1jz or any engine larger then a 4 cylinder might ruin the balance of the car. unless of course, enough time and work spent on the car. even so, it wouldnt be the same.

It also has oil or valve seating problems. I went to the dealership with a friend of mine when his car started to show signs of oil problems, and the guy at the dealer didn't admit to anything until my friend pulled out a list of AP1 owners and their vin numbers that had to have their short blocks replaced by Honda. AP2 is a little extra cash, but much nicer of a car to drive.
