Default Alarm Issues

Are their any issues with adding after market alarm systems to our vehicles. My key fob keeps going out and i am so spoiled that I no longer want to unlock my car door with a key.

What's the best alarm out there?

Yeah, I would like some opinions. I got quotes on the following:
JTI - $460 installed - best system they have with remote start (for a manual, sweet!)
Clifford -$450 installed - everything but window auto roll up and remote start
Excalibur - $300 installed - the usual

Any opinions? All have lifetime warranties on labor and parts.

Is there a web review of alarm systems? For instance, in radar detectors, Valentine One is always rated at or near the top. In Alarm systems, what brand, or manufacturer is considered #1 for product quality and features, warrantee and customer satisfaction?

Hey All,
My key fob is broken,
anyone have directions on how to program a new one (on pre 95 car)?
I have a 94, and I know on 95+ sc's you can reprogram a new key fob to the car. But was told this is not possible on 92-94 sc's
Any one have more insight onto this.

I also have directions on how to reprogram the 95+ cars, and have tired reprograming another keyfob to my car, but it didn't work.
Anyone know what's different on the pre 95 cars?
and how they add new fobs to those cars
Thanks!
Ken

Compustar is the one I want. I think they have new version already. My friend has one of those on new Rav4, it's pretty impressive.
