I'm jocking that cage above, that looks sick!

I haven't finalized everything yet in my interior. Still deciding where to mount the Blitz iColor, Valentine One concealed display and turbo timer ect....

soarer-what kind of steering is that? Looks great, and not a typical skinny steering wheel (which doesn't go with the SC imo).

How much? And airbg? Difficulty of install?

It's the TRD steering wheel, I don't think it comes with an airbag.

Nice mods S0arer, one of the few guys who do things right here. That blitz iColor looks nice..what's its function? measurments?

sOarer what kind of Pioneer monitor is that?? Is it an all in one control unit? I am planning on getting a monitor to fill that nasty gap from the radio and your monitor choice looks very nice!!

Also that is the TRD 3 spoke supra wheel and it comes with an airbag. But sOarer can you tell us what you used to make it fit and work?

  4. Switch the Steering wheel from a 97 to a 3 spoke 99. Or Maybe a GS430 wheel with 2001 RX300 airbag( Like ACleanSC4). Or If possible the TRD 3 spoke Supra wheel!
The choices above have been what I've been planning for my SC. I already have the LCD for the carPC, and will be molding it in-dash much cleaner this year, to look oem. I was planning on mounting my boost gauge in the gauge cluster itself (bought a small boost gauge and already dremeled everything, and started molding) but after driving a Lamborghini this weekend, I'm pretty sure I'm going to use the stock lambo gauge pod or something similar to rest on top of the SC300 dash. I will also be wrapping the dash and some other panels in the material Lamborghini uses... it's like a very strong rubberized leather. The wood trim will all be changed to carbon fiber.

From there, I will be gettng a set of tan supra seats for free from a friend. I will be using those and the SC300 rear seats, and re-uppholstering both in black leather. New black carpet to come, suede black headliner, and from there either dying or re-uppholstering all panels in black leather. I would like to add in air-cooled seats as well, but it's looking like the cost might make that out of my reach.

I would like a new wheel, but that is at the end of my list of mods at the moment.

I'm pretty much going to strip everything at the beginning of this years racing season, and from the dash back, replace or re-uppholster every part one by one. It's going to be a ton of work, but the interior is something my car definately despirately needs at the moment, and I will put in the time to make it look amazing!!

The TRD steering wheel does come with an airbag. Air bag plug plugged right up. Not sure if plug is different for different years. Mine is 95. Installation is easy, remove the old steering wheel, put the new one up, tighten down the center bolt, that's it.

I have a AVIC-D2. I wish I had the Z3 so I didn't have to run a seperate dvd player in the glove box. Plus the IPOD controls don't display all the charaters, Pioneer flaw. The Z3 I heard does work fine though. The dash isn't custom really. The double din sticks out a little, not too bad.
