Everyone has their way of doing them but i wanted to be able to bolt and unbolt the lights in case i get the bumper repainted or buy a new one so i combined the gs clear lense and the sc housing to do so. Here is how i did it, sorry the pics suck i took them on my phone...
first here is the kit that i ordered. It came with the lenses and 2 bulbs.

next i noticed the lense wasnt glued very well in this kit. i used my fingers and basically pulled the lense off the housing.
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/diy%20clear%20corners/DSC00163.jpg)
both done
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/diy%20clear%20corners/DSC00164.jpg)
notice only the long sides had glue on them which is not good if you plan on just shaving the side to install them. these defn needed to be resealed.

My old amber corners were brittle from being 15 years old so i took a screw driver and shattered the lense and removed it carefully.

![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/diy%20clear%20corners/DSC00168.jpg)
Next i cleaned up the edges and then painted the housing in high temp aluminum
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/diy%20clear%20corners/DSC00167.jpg)
![](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/diy%20clear%20corners/DSC00166.jpg)
notice how the original housing and lense dont fit at all. there is nearly half an inch of excess on the gs lense.

they look pretty nice and mock the factory pattern but in white which looks better in my oppinion.
and now a quick teaser of something ive been working on putting in next... a set of 2004 civic si seats.
produced by recaro for honda and have alcantara bolstering and the mesh fabric will match my carbon fiber on my interior

thanks for sharing this, i like this way much better, i didn't really like that crystal clear inside look, and i like the fact that you use the oem SC housing..
I was unsure about getting these clears, but this way i'm gonna order some now

Thanks guys i appreciate the compliment. I am with OLT in saying that i much rather have the ones i got just because i think it matches the rest of the car's lighting better. I will take some more pics from further away once it stops raining in a couple of hours. I tested them yesterday in the heat by running them for a while and no issues and this morning on my way home in some crazy rain and they arent letting any water in. So far so good.
pnyboy27: you are correct these are from a second gen gs. If you look up gs300 clear corner on ebay you will see them.
