ZOMG that is so horrible to look at. ANd even worse is those other crap cars look fine.

The totalled thing is probly a guarantee in this situation. There is way to much to be replaced.

yeah.. it hasnt sunk in yet. still numb about it. im still refusing to believe it is totaled. though i have to make the call to the nsurance company. all i know is im still sticking with lexus. im deciding another sc or maybe a ls. i live in skokie. its just north of chicago. right by old orchard mall. you know where they shot the first back to the future movie. the mall scene where doc gets shot if i remember correctly,

Oh man that sucks. There is no way it will be ok after this.

Why are all of the cars parked at weird angles? Did the water get high enough to move them?

it appears the parking lot is angled toward where i am. so it seems like its the design flaw of the construction of the lot. the drainage hole should have been towards the middle of the lot. but it woulndt have mattered because the surrounding areas are flooded too but worse. i saw one car where its almost submerged. its up to the windshield.

Totaled, it's going to be because of the water, sucks but chances are just keep it from ins company and pull interior, and motor clean it up and you should be good. I dont know Salvage laws in IL

dude its totalled the best kicker is....in IL you cannot re-title a car that was totalled due to flood damage. before you use to be able to but you can anymore. my manager had his ws6 trans am go to waste due to that and it wasnt that bad.

i say part it out. its your best bet. even if you fix eevrything thats wrong and bring it back to life the best you will be able to do is keep it as a track only car.

so what is your number? i need some parts

btw sorry about that. the weather has been weird lately.

well there isnt to much to part out in my car.. it was my working project. the driver seat needed new skins. tail lights look okai. i got rain deflectors... hah and i need to change out the rims before the guy gets here. so atleast i have the rims still. only the drivers side light is worth it. ill have to see which led lights still work so i can salvage that. and replace my 2 week old wipers with some old ones. i know what your thinking about the wipers but it set me back $20 (i got it on sale :P. it would have set me back 30 plus tax. ) and hopefully my pnp hids are okai too.
