Let's make a list. What did you pay for your SC?

~$13k - '97 SC400 Onyx/Tan - ~80k on the clock with 90k service completed (including starter), all records - bought in the winter of '06 from a high end auto detailer that modded it enough to show the car for the 3 years he owned it (putting only 6k on the odo while he owned it), the paint looked better than stock, the previous owner was an old dude from Cali. - car is still flawless. I use it as my daily driver now, and it still looks fantastic.

1993 SC300 spruce silver 118000 miles 4,400
looked like a good deal, the only thing that was visibly wrong is that the passenger's seat is stuck and won't move forwards or backwards,
little did i know that the car hasn't seen a dealership for service since 1998 and now i'm stuck with the aftermath of all the problems. my fault though, it was one of two that i looked at and it's my first car and didnt know how to inspect and buy a car...

1999 SC300 - Black/Tan - 72k miles - paint was swirled up when I bought it, but taking it to a detailer took care of most of that. I'll eventually get it resprayed but it's good for now. Interior is flawless except for a rip on the passenger middle pillar from the seat belt flapping around. Got it from a little used import dealership about 3 months ago that's now out of business.
$13k - $5k trade for my '98 ES. Like any other SC owner, I usually don't tell people how much it cost :P

Man, all those prices make me cry Lol
$9600 for a 97 5-speed 153k, perfect body, new clutch and 18s. No problems when i bought it. Changed the seats out for Supra seats so i could fit and and finishing a parts list for my LS400 swap. Have Supra wheels handy if the wheels don't like the LS4 brakes. Total Investment: about $500 but it's going to go up soon
Did a performance test with a scan tool and runs like it just came out of the factory....awesome.
Oh, and i still need to fix that damn power steering leak.
