Default Headlight/Gauge light help

Guys,

Whenever I turn my headlights on the backlights on my gauge cluster turn off. I wired in some Defi gauges but have disconnected those which didn't help.

Backlights on the gauge cluster are on when I have no other lights on, but as soon as I turn my parking lights or headlights on the backlights on the cluster go off.

Thanks,
Jonny

the ill wire is grounding somewhere, find the screw that is likely through it or the bare spot. (and make sure the dimmer is plugged in)

Well thanks to LexusFTW (my resident mechanic ) it is now fixed. Turned out to be a weak headlight relay
