I have two kids and had two seats in the car until they stole my car with the seats still in them.

I have a Britax (one of better rated car seats) and have had no problems other than imprints into the seat cushion from the child's car seat. Just yesterday I put a booster seat in the other seat for my daughters friend and no problems other than they need a little more foot room when they get older.

The passenger seat will have t o be up pretty far in order for the baby seat to sit level. Other than than, I haven't had any issues.

Agree. I have a britax and in the rear-facing position the passenger seat will have to be >50percent of the way forward. The good news is that the baby will be traveling in style and the SC is built like a tank.

was dating a girl with a kid for a lil while. we went out with the kid once or twice and rearfacing carseat fit behind the passenger seat and she was still able to ride shotgun (she was kinda short though). she did have to get in the back seat on the driver side to get him in and out.
