Have my BBS LM up for sale, but torn on keeping them
Hey all,
Got my BBS LM's for sale, they are 19x8.5+32 and came off of my '01 Acura CL.
On the CL, they are perfectly aggressive with a mild stretch 225/35/19 tires.
I really want to put 'em on the '97 SC4, but they are from what i calculated will sit almost 1 cm more tucked in than this SC wearing 19x10+42 in the rear with 275 series tires
What do y'all think? There's hardly any lip all around on the LM's, but they're such a rare wheel to see in general that i can't help but think i should keep them lol
i would try to run 235 front and 255's in the rear if i kept the BBS's =/.
i really don't wnat to deal with spacers just becuase i always seem to have the worst luck with these sort of things; people will tell me they never have rattling or vibration problems, and i will constantly get those sort of issues lol

I would say try out the spacers first. I just put some 25mm F and 30mm R spacers on my SC tonight for my SSRs and havent had any vibrations...
Anways, LMs will look good on the SC, so I would give it a try first and if it doesn't work out, then sell the wheels and spacers I guess.

The wheels are sweet but its a little unfair to just show these wheels. If the forum knew what else you were considering they could sway the other way.
The plus side of the BBS
Mesh is always looks good on a SC
BBS are great high end wheels
19" is a great wheel size
They will fit with no modifications at all
My biggest hang ups with the BBS wheels is this.
No lips (sorry but I'm a sucker for big lips)
Offset is a little weak for the rears (spacers suck, pushing a skinny wheel out looks funny)
Rears are to narrow for my taste (big meaty tire out back for me)
Did I mention I hate thick spacers?
The BBS are great wheels and if you keep them they would look great on your car, on the other hand, other wheels can look as good or better.
Really depends on what you compare them against.

i say leave them on the CL, it looks perfect on it. rear lips are a must on SCs. I like the current rims on your SC, with the BBS it will look too busy: gold, CF black, gunmetal + red hubcap. Being that they're LM's, they will still look great no matter what on the SC and still break necks.

Lol, sorry to mislead guys, I should have made it clearer in the first post, the JIC magic car is NOT my car, it is just an example of how the other set of wheels sits.
The other ones i'm looking at are DaveGS4's Autocouture monoblock Indicators in our very own classifieds here:
They are 19x8.5+37(fr) with 245 tires, and 19x10+42(rr) with 275 series tires.
around a 2.5" lip in the front and 3" lip in the back; not insane, but very clean
now for a 1 on 1 comparison
