Changing fog light bulbs
#18
I stopped by the school's auto shop once class got out, hoisted the SC300 on the lift, and changed out the fog light bulbs. I reconfigured everything how it was before, but they didn't turn on. I have the headlights on 'On' position and the fog light switched to 'On', but they're not working! Any ideas?
The product I'm using are yellow H3 55w bulbs I got off of eBay for $15. When I opened the packaging, I wasn't being careful enough and SLIGHTLY grazed both bulbs with the side of my finger. Could this be the culprit? Or perhaps the fuse? Or are some wires not connected?

It's a pain in the a$$ to change fogs in the SC. The best way to do this is to remove all of the shields along the bottom and remove the splash guards. As mentioned from the others, two 8mm nuts and one 8mm screw will be holding the housing in. The screw on top is a pain to reach. After you finally remove everything and realize the pain it was, you'll never want to do it again lol. What made things worse was to see that my brand new H3 HID kit didn't have a correct housing to my car and I would have to splice wires and dremmel my fog cover housing in order to make them work. I just gave up and put everything back together. I emailed the vendor and requested a refund today and they want a 25% restocking fee and of course I have to pay shipping. So, I'm about to either sell a brand new HID fog light kit in the classifieds section, or get some serious nerves and try again another weekend. Kudos to you guys that installed them, I'm going to stick with Halogens for a while.
