Hey all,
I kept this out of the wheel fitment thread as I'm trying to make my final decision tonight on these wheels and am hoping for some quick replies.
It is for a set of Work Varianza T1S for my 1997 SC400:
Front: 18x9.5 +33 3.5" lip
Rear: 18x10 + 22 4.5" lip
I know for sure I will have to roll my fenders. I am looking to run 245/40/18 tires on the front and 265/40/18 on the rears as I'm not a huge fan of major stretch.
I've also done the aggressive negative camber thing and decided it's really not for me; would it be possible to keep the negative camber in the rear down to no more than -1.5 to fit in the rear?
Also, I've been told that the SC400 has camber adjustment from factory, and would only require camber kits for more aggressive adjustment needs.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated ya'll.
Thanks!

Those offsets are perfect. the fronts are a few millimeters off, which is fine with me, others would still run a 5mm spacer. i always liked those but were too much $$. im assuming by quick sale you mean it's priced low and you want to beat a lot of people to it. good luck, they are nice!
edit: those rears are aggressive, depending on how much you will drop your car, you will need a camber kit for anything low.

I think the fronts are a little too high of an offset, but maybe they will look okay, i've always had +24 on my sc's.
the rear is perfect, except i'd probably go for a 35 series tires..
if you want better clearance on the rear, go for a 35 series, i ran a 275/40 on a 18x10 +22 on my last SC, i really loved the look but i did rub a bit to be as low as i wanted, here's a pic .

right now i'm running a 18x10 +24 with a 255/35 and have zero rubbing issues lol.

thanks for the posts ya'll, i just found out from the vendor that i would need to have a small spacer to clear an IS350 sized brake caliper in the front (I have the LS400 upgrade), hopefully the LS400 isn't sized that much and i will only need to run a 5mm spacer or something.
Would a 255/40/18 in the rear work? I know I'd be splitting hairs, but if I needed to run a 35 tall tire, I would really just get 19's =/.
Also I will be dropped on Swift Springs + Koni Yellows, not SLAMMED, but from what I saw on the previous owners' pictures, he pretty much had no wheel gap
and i am correct to assume that i wouldn't need any camber kits if i'm not slammed?
