I think they look like 170 bucks. By that I mean they look cheap I also think 2000 for a set of tail lights is a bit much but 1500 would be about right. Think about it.These cars where 56,000 plus. If you want to own a older car remember who bought it to begin with and use the parts you know the first owners could afford and WOULD put on it. I hate too see a SC that looks like a civic. Have some class.

$56,000 when it initially came out aside, you'd really think that a price of $1500 is "about right" for a set of tail lights?

Look at it this way...... at least someone is listening.

I thought of this:

Since there are three turn signal bulbs, make the inner most one on both tails your reverse light! Then, you can swap a turn signal bulb into the pre-supplied reverse light slot, and then tint the reverse light red.

It would be an interesting signal design, but would look nice I think.

I know the bulbs are different (1156/1157) but you should be able to Jerry rig something that works well and looks good (granted you won't see your fabbed sockets unless you take the tails out.

I think I am going to do this soon.

I like when I come up with unique ideas...lol

Here's why I like the new lights: The red section is not as solid red as the OEM lights. Most cars now-a-days have chrome housings behind the red lens. They also have a chrome turn signal/reverse area, and I think my wiring idea would flow nicely with that.

I got mine in and installed them last nite.
Im waiting for my coilovers to come in next week before i take any respectable pics of my present ashey SC4x4
but Ill post pics up some quick shots tomorow

Im still missing my oem's tinted black/red, but one stayed condensated 24/7
Theese are flat like 97 lights. I always felt that conture was part of the car.. but they are growing on me
With LED's they are a lil better. espcially the reverse lights. I kinda overlook the ugly reverse bubble. i tinted my other reverse light and regretted it at nite, when in a dark parking area.

They are like the halo headlights. An alternitive to whats been on the streets for the last 10-15 years.
It has to be seen in person, on a tastey car to form a final opinion.

Um ok...............following that logic the majority of first owners of mine and many others SC's wouldn't boost their cars put on a kit, coilovers, wheels etc....they would probalby consider that rice themselves.

Anyway I like these lights, like everyone else said I would cover/modify the reverse light.

In for pics.

This is one of about 3 things in 6 years off ebay I have potentially liked for the SC.
