I wouldnt but it. Way too risky like everyone else said. I mean sure it would be okay is all the maintenance was done but come on what are the odds of that happening. Maybe is the car was a manuel that might have happened but not on an automatic.

300K is a lot of drive time regardless of the average speed. I totally agree that "fresh paint" on a car with 300K is a totally bad sign. Perhaps if you had a 2003+ car with 300K I'd understand... but a 95, that for sure means he has a discount and the paint probably sucks or he had an accident and its not worth it anyways.
I wouldn't even buy it. 300K is 300K all around. From the seats, to the hood, to all the little screws and bolts that come undone and rattle at such a high mileage. Save your money and keep looking!

this is the first i've heard of this club. are you serious about getting near that mark?!?!?!? it seems impossible given the years of the car.

1UZ usually last a long time if its well taken care of. but like what everybody said, try to see if you can bring it to a shop to have it fully inspect, compression check the motor, suspension play, and all the other stuff.

shoot, i paid 4 G's for my SC300 even though it had 260K when i first bought it 2 years ago and now it has 307K w/ a/c and everything plus i beat the **** out of it almost everyday and i don't regret anything at all...btw i'm even gonna turbo'd the same motor just w/ a thicker HG and arp studs...
