Default Best way to spend $1000?

I've had my '98 SC for a little over a year now, and the only thing I've ever done to it was tint the windows. It's completely stock, and I want to change that. Any ideas? Or should I just wait and save for rims and coilovers?

I'd say depending on mileage...maintenance work.

definately maintenance. check all ur fluids, trans and brake fluid are always over looked. replace all ur bad bushings, leaking gaskets, plugs blah blah. then after all that... beef up ur suspension!

Not completely true, but close.

I've learned (the hard way sometimes) that to really enjoy the SC for what it's worth, you gotta get it running and riding the way Lexus intended. Everything rubber under the car gets replaced first, then start on engine maintenance.
