Considering SC300 w/ 101k... Concerns?
Hello!
I am thinking about getting a 1993 SC300 I saw at a Jaguar dealership today.
I went to sit in it, and it's very nice.
The interior is VERY clean, and all guages work perfectly.
It has a nice spoiler, alloy wheels w/ new tires, and a CD-changer.
There is no condensation in the headlights, except for the right one, which has a tad on the left side of it.
It does have 101,000 miles, so I'm a bit weary of getting such a high-mileage car.
It's in excellent shape, better than a 94 I also saw today (black, with 64k miles, goin for $14,900).
They want $10,900 for the 93 with 101,000 miles.
There are a few paint chips on the spoiler, and one on the roof.
Also, another thing I noticed is that the trunk doesn't stay open by itself. How much is that to fix?
What should I look for in a car with this mileage? I did a CarFax, and it came back clean.
Thanks!
