Take the money,keep the car and fixit up cheaper,and put the rest of the money into transferable parts for the next car in line.

I wouldn't take insurance for that damage. It would be worse in the long run.

looks like the trunk is buckled and possibly the floor of the trunk as well.... i can see it being totalled since the value avc is low on it

this was my incident from a few weeks ago had it fixed all said and done after i got the new tails online for 450.00 pulled and painted.

Actually Yes, most people don't want a totaled car. Some are hard to replace for the money. If your insurance is that quick to drop the car, it's not always a good thing.
