guys, i have a question.. does stretching tires make you lose tread faster compared to not stretching tires? i'm more prone to thinking it would if the same tread is getting stretched on a larger surface.. making the tread smaller to begin with

i like stretched tires if the rest of the car is done to suit, other wise, i think it's sorta dumb.
like
if you've got massively stretched tires, you better have the offset and ride height to go with it, then stretching is awesome!

i was told by wheel works that a 225 and lower are highly not recomended on our cars for front tires so i didn't listen and stretched 225's on the front of a 10in on my 1st set of volk gt-p's and bent both rims dam near beyond repair, now i run a 235 on my fronts on 9.5 volk gt-u
