Default Cabin Air Filter for SC400/300 92-2000 Exact Fit!

I finally found the correct air filter for my 92 SC400. Denso provides original parts right from the factory for the 92's - Here is the website: http://www.densoaftermarket.com - the part number is: 453-1003 - I have a pic showing the filters. It comes with installation instructions. When I checked out to buy the part I was re-directed to: http://sparkplugs.com -

You know that the TRD air filter is an exact fit as well...In fact, it's even re-usable as well.

We had a couple threads on this -- here's a scan of the instruction booklet if people want to see how to remove and replace the filter: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...19#post3373167

pnyboy27 - The cabin air filter is located under the kickpanel under the glovebox as seen in the link.

These filters are hardly an exact fit for the 92's as CAF's werent spec'd until 93 MY if you look at the post its for 98 SC. They all require trimming for the 92's. This has been discussed a bunch of times.

Good luck.

Once you drop the kickpanel under the glovebox you'll see almost in the center 2 wingnuts remove them and a small panel will drop, thats where the filters go. There may or may not be anything in there i had some debris and 2 of the 4 filters.

Uh did the 95 SC300s come with a LAMP near the cabin air filter? I saw the denso instructions in the other thread and I want one :\. I noticed that the feet blower doesn't seem to work on my car, anyone know the solution to that?
