How do I engage headlights for "auto on" day or night
I need to engage my SC400 headlights so that they come on automatically during the day or night.
How do I accomplish this ?
My wife has driven the car several times lately during the evening and recently was stopped by the police.
How do I set the lights so they come on at all times
Thanks

Just a heads up, if you guys have HIDs to NOT keep the light in auto as when you go under an overpass, tunnel in a shady area and the lights turn on and off, you can shorten the life of your HIDs by doing this over time. Where you turn on the head light it should say auto, go to that setting, your light sensor is on the far driver's side of the dash (left) it is the clear looking button thing. Cover it and your lights will turn on.

Now I am confused....need clarification.... I want auto on all the time...
Guys,
Thanks for all your responses.
I WILL use Auto on for a guarantee that the lights will come on at night (wife says even at dusk they "may" come on).
Is that left dash dome for temps or lights.
I would gladly cover it to make sure the lights are on during the day.
I believe that lights on during the day are a safety benefit.
So, what do I need to do to get the lights to come on during the day????
Thanks all for your help
