you ever see the mk3 supra rear seats? Its like an earlier model of the SC back seats, except the seats dont dip like that. Yeah, i've had people squeeze back there many times.

I can fit 3 people if someone is willing to scrunch in the front and back passenger. My seat back more less touches the back seat. I'm sure the back seats are only there for insurance purposes.

The back seats aren't that bad imo. There's no comparison to my friend's tC though. The seats look pretty small, but if you move the front ones all the way forward, take off the headrests and recline them, the seatback fits perfectly below the rear seat, making kind of a "recliner". It's straight BALLIN!
A honda fit, but you get the idea.![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I haven't read all the posts so I dunno if somebody else said this, but I think they did it just to keep the SC outside of the sports car/2-seater class. Isn't insurance quite a bit less as well? That and the Japanese people aren't as big as most Americans, so the SC is probably seen as a somewhat normal sized car in the back.

I'm 6'4 and I have sat in the back seat of my SC...
I was very drunk, and my buddy who was driving was 5'10 somehow i survived as did he....
So my suggestion is don't be in the back seat unless ur drunk

Used to own a 97 Firebird that had seats like the sc. This was in Germany though and had the car for a week or so until I designated driver and had someone back there who was drunk and decided he couldn't hold his liquor. last time anybody sat back there or any of my cars.

i used to keep mine there too...in my 5spd SC days, the auto leaves no real good hiding spots except tucked up under the dash...
as far as the backseats go, i think theyre comfy. On certain late nights i'll have my friends drive my car and everyonce in a while i'll hop in back if there's some of my bigger friends riding and i have no issues... then again, I'm 5'9" and 145lbs lol. I've also never had any huge problems bringing dates back there
