I've been looking at the tails and there is more than enough room to use TWO turn signal bulbs in the 96 housings. You just have to unibit out a second hole on the inside of the original turn signal hole (rather than going to the outside closer to the edge) and use the second bulb socket holder in the original harness. A little epoxy will seal it in.
Screw the hot resistors and taping the bulbs up inside the trunk and every other ghetto fix we've seen attempted. I'm just going to actually integrate the second bulb into the turn signal of the tail light...... run them both.
You should probably expect pics sometime in the future.

Sounds like a good plan .I ended up modifying the flasher unit and so far it works like a charm .The only thing i hate is the slow hazard lights .If you can get 2 cell bulbs for the tails maby you wont even need to add another bulb( if it is the 97+ style.
