window door lock solenoid problem
I have a 1991 toyota soarer. I just install a remote lock on my car and I realize that my driver side dook lock solenoid is not working probably. I am wondering is it the same as the LHD passenger side. THanks

It shouldn't be the same where in snyc did you wire it up to? Does it not move at all or does it go back to unlock? If you can't figure it out take it to a pro installer. Stuff like that I would have someone else do.

a professional did the install. He me that my driver side solenoid is not working. It only locks but it wont unlock. It will click and try to unlock but it will get jam. I just want to change the solenoid, however I don't want to order from japan. So I am just wondering if the USDM passenger solenoid is the same as JDM driver side.

I might say yes to that I am not sure if the wires leading to it are the same. Th best thing to do is try and find one on here and buy it for someone like aliga and see if it works. That or look up a diagram and or pictures of it if possible. Unless the cost is going to be more new for the part from Japan buy the US one.
