The gauge set up is pretty sweet, but how comfortable is it to transition from looking from the road to looking down at your read outs?

i train my eye that once i go into boost i check a/f and egt for a second you learn to split eye site but with the aem unless i have a bad injector a/f will not change and my tuner gave me boost cut at 23.8psi so even if wastegate hose came off car shuts down at 23.8 to protect itself so i dont need to watch as intently anymore

nice. I'm really just used to Subaru. I'm used to having the gauges up at eye level so I never have to look down.

i hear ya , i wish mine were more eye level but to me pillar pods dont belong in a lexus , i dont do the open the glove box thing so this was the next best choice

I think glove box mounted systems are retarded on street cars, unless it was used for rally, or some sort of autocross where a co-driver, or secondary driver can monitor the car's readouts for you. On a street car its just too far and too long to look away for a chance to read gauges. Last thing I need to do is look away from the road to read my glove box needles and then look back to the road to find myself in a wreck, or someone wrecking me. haha
