love the profile of the car but want it to be light....consider a S14. Similar profile but it's smaller, lighter, 100x more agile than a SC will ever be.
compared to the SC the s14 is light but its still heavy. if you want a true light track car go with a s13. my buddy has a stripped s13 WITH a full cage(at least 8pt i think) and it weighs in at 2400lb dry
the SC can be an agile car. remove the interior and all heavy stuff. removing the sunroof assembly is actually more critical in comparison to the trunk or the hood. that weight is all the way at the top of the car. it will effect things more then then the hood or the trunk, which weigh similar but a lot lower to the ground.
Only 155 H.P. I always here them joked about as a pick-up engine in the 240s.
yea cuz they have monster torque for a 4cyl in it's era. Just slap a turbo on that engine and you have 180whp (on par w/ -98 SC400s whp but faster than them) or go V8... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7SVcuPvpnc
I think its exactly the same as a nissan p-up. The price of a 97 240 sx 5-speed and turbo intercooler, I think id rather have a 99 SC400.
No just the 89-90 single cam 240s were the same as the pickups. 91+ are different than the trucks and altimas. 97+ 240s are also the 2nd heaviest 240 compared to the convertible.
