This is an easy one...
Just call up your local Lexus dealer, say at 10 AM when the service consultant is over the busy hump. Ask he or she to look up the VIN for your car and FAX you the Lexus service history. This database is nationwide and if your car was serviced by Lexus each and every item or "Condition" that was taken care of is listed and the outcome is also there. This is an invaluable tool to ascertain the maintainence history of your car. It also can be used to provide a future buyer of your car a pedigree of maintenance history which would undoubtably have value.

I hope this helps you?

Yes, that may be their policy, as when this was done for me my car in fact was there. If you are thinking about buying this car you may want to inform the seller that you want your local Lexus dealer to look the car over. Net result? You car will be at the Lexus dealer and viola! You can peruse the service history.

Don't talk to the service consultant, go inside and talk to other guy with a computer in front of him. The service record doesn't really tell what wrong with the car at the time of servicing. It just tell you what was done. New tires, brake pads, oil change, 60K mile service but you have to find out what a 60K miles service entails at the particular dealer. For other service, like something was wrong with the car. The record only print out the first line of the customer complain.
In my case, (among other problems) I know that there were at least three time the last two owners took the car in for radio issue. The first time was less than 10K miles. But it doesn't really tell me what was the complain about. Just know that something was wrong with the radio.
DO NOT take your car to the dealer for anything. Do it yourself.
