It's a 5chan amp, and there's no way that thing is putting 100w RMS into that sub. You'll be much happier with an amp that can push 150-200w RMS of nice clean power into an 8ohm mono load all day and night. My setup produces 1579watts bridged, but I run it unbridged, with a moderate gain structure, so I can get enough fill from the free air (barely) without having to put in an upgraded alternator and a couple of caps, only to send that little free air b@stard into extreme excursion and launch the dustcap through your back window (plz don't take that literally). For a Jazz guy, the JL 10IB4 fitted to the oe sub frame, powered by a couple hundred watts will do the trick. Getting rid of the cheezoid 4" paper cone spkrs would be a good thing too.
